Dancing, there is no way to be

other than this body

moving in this room.

What arises in the stomach,

will arise in the stomach,

and what arises in the heart and the throat

or the hips or the forehead

will arise.

There is no other body,

no place else for it to go.

Not the wished for body

nor the ideal self.

As I accept that completely and be what it is,

I realize that I am

not the past self either.

I am brand new.

And what were these things arising?

Anticipated, simulated, imagined shapes of other bodies.

They disappear.
